HUF faculty and staff welcomed new and returning HUF students with a reception and orientation session on Tuesday, August 23 in the Hindi Urdu Resource Center. After students greeted their peers and welcomed our returning overseas cohort, HUF Director Rupert Snell introduced new faculty and staff to the community and talked briefly about plans and expectations for the coming academic year. HUF administrative staff Sarah Green, Selina Keilani, and Jonathan Seefeldt also spoke to the students about HUF programs and policies. HUF senior student Ramu Kharel spoke about his time overseas in India and about the Health Awareness Program in South Asia (HAPSA), a UT organization founded by HUF students in 2009.
