Shan Khan, the first official HUF graduate

Syed aKbar Hyder and Shan Ali KhanThe Hindi Urdu Flagship had the immense privilege of honoring its very first graduate, Shan Khan, during UT’s College of Liberal Arts commencement ceremony on May 21st, 2010 at the Frank Erwin Center. As Shan’s achievement was announced to the audience, HUF Associate Director, Syed Akbar Hyder, greeted Shan on stage and presented him with a specially designed HUF sash.

Zaid Hassan, HUF’s long-serving student research assistant, also graduated and was greeted on-stage by Dr. Hyder.
