Students: An Overview
HUF students represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds, majors, and career goals. While some students come from a “heritage” background, having parents or grandparents from the subcontinent, many students come with no previous contact with the culture or language. Some students want to pursue pre-professional tracks such as pre-med, pre-law, and business; others choose to focus entirely on language and cultural study. And desired career destinations range from the Foreign Service to the World Bank to the vast world of US and South Asian NGOs. There are many ways to be a global professional!
